This is another great question, Cynthia! To modify your dining reservation, I have the thingamabob that does the job - and it does not involve using Fairy Godmother's magic wand. Of course, you are welcome to sing, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo," as you do it! It always makes a task much more magical!
You have a couple of options for modifying your breakfast dining reservation. If you are keeping the same number of guests, then you may be able to easily change the guest included in the reservation. Simply pull up the
My Plans section of My Disney Experience and look for your breakfast dining reservation. There should be an option with it to
Update Guests. This will allow you to select from any guest in your Family & Friends List. If you need to, there is an option to
Add A Guest at the bottom of the pull-down menu.
Cynthia, if you have breakfast reserved at a dining location that requires pre-payment, such as Cinderella's Royal Table, then the system may allow you to modify the guest. I have had an issue with this before, when I was modifying the guest from a child to an adult, and it required me to
call in to speak with a Dining Cast Member.
Adding a guest to your dining reservation does require a bit different method. When you are on that My Plans page I mentioned earlier, look for the link within your reservation to
Change Reservation. This will allow you to search for availability on a different day, at a different time, or for a different size party. If there is a spot available, the system will walk you through the steps to complete the change. If there is no availability, you are welcome to search again at any time. Guests change their plans often, especially in the days leading up to their reservation.
Thanks again for stopping by and we hope to see ya real soon!
