Hi there, Kelly! I am so glad you found us here at planDisney to ask your vacation planning question.
First of all, I am so sorry to hear that Hurricane Ida might be the reason you will have to cancel your Walt Disney World vacation. But, the magic of Walt Disney World will always be there when you have recovered from the hurricane and are in a better situation to travel there. Mickey Mouse and the gang will be anxiously awaiting your return.
Looking at your information, I see that you were scheduled to arrive on November 23. Up until 30 days prior to your vacation, you can cancel and receive a full refund. That means you would have until October 24 to cancel your trip.
Should you have to cancel, when you are ready to rebook, be sure to check out Disney’s Pop Century Resort or Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which are both on the
Skyliner. This system allows guests to ride to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with ease. We recently stayed at a resort on the Skyliner and it was awesome to have such convenient transportation. I would also recommend stopping at Disney’s Riviera Resort to check out the gorgeous mosaics near the Skyliner station and to have a bite to eat at
Primo Piatto. The Croque Monsieur was delicious and reasonably priced.
I hope you find this helpful. I wish you all the best with the recovery from the hurricane.
Happy Planning,
Tracy
