We have 7:40am reservations for Bon Voyage in Boardwalk. We are staying at the Polynesian. What’s the best way to get there and/or park (we will have our own car). We are also doing Epcot that day. Is the IG open to get into Epcot after eating breakfast?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Candice!

We just returned from a trip last week to the ‘World and enjoyed a fabulous meal with Ariel, Flynn Rider, Prince Eric, and Rapunzel at the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast. The adults couldn’t decide which entree to choose, so our fantastic server brought the four of us a sampling of almost everything! After I sampled nearly all of them, I highly recommend Pascal’s Palace and the Royale Breakfast. The steak is mouth-watering delicious, and the fruits and yogurt are masterful!

Since you have a car, I recommend driving from your Resort to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. When you arrive, let the Cast Members at the entrance know that you are headed to breakfast on the BoardWalk, and they will happily show you where to park. If you don’t want to drive yourself, consider a Minnie Van! A polka-dotted beauty will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off at the BoardWalk. Super convenient and super fun!

In general, the International Gateway opens at 9:00 am. If Epcot has Extra Magic Hours that morning, the entrance will be open at the start of those hours. You can count on at least an hour for breakfast, so by the time you walk to Epcot from The BoardWalk, you should be good to go.

Candice, go, live your dream! I wish you a magical vacation.
