We have reservations at Beaches & Cream at 3:40 on our Hollywood Studios day. What time should we plan on leaving HS to make it on time. I'm not very mobile, so walking isn't an option. Thanks!

    Hi Suzanne,

I recently dined at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at the recommendations of my planDisney pal Susan! It was a fabulous experience, and I am excited to hear that you plan to enjoy it on your upcoming trip. No trip to Beaches & Cream is complete without the Kitchen Sink or at least one of their epic sundae treats so make sure you save room for dessert!

If you are worried about mobility issues, the best option for getting from Hollywood Studios to Disney's Beach Club Resort is by hopping on the bus transportation located near the theme park entrance. The buses are convenient if you are using a mobility device like a wheelchair or ECV and will offer a drop-off that is close to the hotel entrance. This will be the option that requires the least amount of walking. I always recommend giving yourself at least an hour to get from one Disney World location to another to account for walking, waiting, and transportation time. If you want to be safe Disney World officially recommends giving yourself 1.5 hours to get from one location to the next.

Since your visit is during the holiday season, don't forget to check out the holiday decorations that will be starting to appear at each of the Disney Resort hotels and theme parks. They make for great picture locations and are a perfect way to inspire the holiday spirit before you head home and decorate your own house. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be kicking off during your visit and is one of my favorite events of the year! You get to enjoy festive treats, a fabulous parade with Mickey and Santa Claus, and bask in snowfall on Main Street at Magic Kingdom. It is worth the extra ticket!

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
