Hello to all!! I have reservations ASMO resort, with DH, son8 & daughter4, saw bad reviews and was thinking to switch to POFQ, the only moderate resort left at the time of my stay. I never stayed at either one and am unsure which to choose , thanx

Hey, Melissa.  Here's the thing with bad reviews - you have to take them with a grain of salt, especially since you don't know what the expectations were of the person writing them.  If someone gave a bad review of the All Star Movies resort because they wanted room service, then they didn't do their research.  If they didn't like it because there were a lot of kids there, they booked the wrong resort for themselves.

We have stayed at the All Star Movies a few times, and we have no complaints!  My girls love wandering around and looking at all the cool movie icons that they love, and I have photos of all three of them with Herbie the Love Bug and the wonderful Andy's Room display!  The food court has always been more than adequate for my family of five, and the girls really like the pools.

You won't find room service or a table service restaurant here, and there are often youth groups visiting there - like cheerleaders, high school seniors, Pop Warner football players.  But we've never had any reason not to return here.  It's clean, it's friendly, and it's definitely fun!

I have to tell you, Port Orleans French Quarter is one of my favorite Walt Disney World resorts!  You can't go wrong there, and you will find the rooms a wee bit larger, and a few more amenities.  I love the theming of the resort, and the kids love the pool area here.

    Have a great trip!
