We have reservations for AoA in Feb & booked the LM rooms. Im worried about the walk to and from buses. I know they are not very close by each other. Now that its open, does anyone know if the walk is that bad? I hope its not too long for the kids.

    Hi Lisa,

The center of the Little Mermaid section is approximately one quarter of mile from the center of the main building with the food court. This is quite similar to the what you'll find at the out sections of many of the other Disney resorts.

An adult can walk the distance in about four minutes, really not long at all. I don't know how old your kids are, but if they're toddlers, you'll likely want to use your stroller a fair amount all over Walt Disney World, including the parks and resorts. Disney is typically a heavy walking destination. Most folks, no matter where they're staying, will average somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 miles of walking per day. Again, if your kids are small, a stroller may be important to you.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us what else we can do to help.
