    We have reservations for Animal Kingdom on 5/16/21. Our daughter will be there for the Summit Cheer Competition. Her registration includes a 3-day pass but we won't get it until that week. How can we ensure that she can get added to our reservation?

    Congratulations to your daughter and her team in winning a BID to Summit. This year things are a little different around Walt Disney World and in the Competition Cheer World. And I being a former cheer parent and planDisney panelist can empathize when it comes to finalizing details.

    As Walt Disney World and Varsity Spirits work together to better accommodate some of the conundrums, I suggest closely monitoring your email. Varsity has recently released an email, to their Varsity customers, addressing questions about your Walt Disney World Tickets and potentially securing/linking a Disney Park Pass reservation. 

    As the email states, it is important you have a My Disney Experience account and download the mobile app. This is your vacation hub and where you can see your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, Walt Disney World tickets you have linked and find your Disney Park Pass reservation itinerary. Your My Disney Experience does so much more so become comfortable navigating it but I digress.

    When you receive your daughter’s Walt Disney World ticket, immediately link it to your My Disney Experience. Next, open your My Disney Experience mobile app and select the menu tab in the lower right-hand corner. Scroll down and select Chat With Us and type in “VARSITY.” A Disney Cast Member will then confirm your family’s information. Have ready their ticket information, your ticket information and if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel the reservation number. They will then take a look at your itinerary request and check park capacity to see what they can do for you and your family.  Cast Members are trying to help Varsity out as much as possible so please, know they are doing their best and will assist and help to the best of their ability. Also, the Chat feature is not available 24hrs a day. Continue to check your email for further information and details from Varsity.
