Have reservation for Tusker House @9:25am. Is there be time to do Tough to be a Bug and Kilimanjaro Safaris before breakfast? Park opens @ 8am that day. Also how early should we arrive for Festival of Lion King? Would 20/30 mins be enough time. Thanks

    Hi Maggie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  If you arrive in time for park opening, you should have ample time to experience both Kilimanjaro Safaris and It's Tough to be a Bug! prior to your Advanced Dining Reservation at Tusker House Restaurant. The line at Kilimanjaro Safaris can get quite long by mid-morning so you may want to ride the popular attraction first.

Festival of the Lion King is one of my family's top picks when visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. I would recommend getting there 25-30 minutes prior to the start of the show.  During our visit in November, we arrived approximately 20 minutes prior to the start and there was a very lengthy line at that time. That being said, we were still able to get a seat in the last section that they filled and felt like we had a great vantage point for viewing the performance.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance to you. Best wishes for a magical trip, Maggie!

    Jambo!
