We have a reservation to stay in a Lion King suite at Art of Animation over Thanksgiving and are so excited! Is there a section of the Lion King area that I could request to make it more convenient to the pool, food court, and bus stop?

    Hi Colleen!

How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort over Thanksgiving!  I have personally stayed at Disneys Art of Animation Resort and loved the immersive storybook theming and attention to detail at every turn. Although both of the buildings in The Lion Kion area are in a great location, I would recommend Building 10 for the closer proximity to Animation Hall, the bus depot, Landscape of Flavors and The Big Blue Pool. Please keep in mind that room requests are accepted, but are not guaranteed. That being said, I have always found that the Cast Members do their absolute best to honor requests when possible.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that may arise. Best wishes for a magical trip, Colleen!

    Happy Planning,
