If I get a reservation to Space220 Lounge, do I still get to use the space elevator? It will be my friend's first visit and I want him to get to experience the elevator, but can't enjoy the restaurant since its not on the DDP!

    Hello there Alan!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sending us your question today, and I'm very excited for you to get to experience Space 220. It's truly an out-of-this-world experience, and is one of my kid's favorite places in all of Walt Disney World!

I'm happy to report that you will get the full interstellar experience, even if your reservation is for the Space 220 Lounge. After check-in and receiving your boarding pass, you will need to ride the "space elevator" in order to travel from Epcot to the Centauri Space Station! The views are spectacular, and can be seen from everywhere inside the Space 220 venue. The lounge area is situated at the top tier of the restaurant, with wide open views of the restaurant seating tiers and space windows. Many of my friends almost prefer reserving the lounge for a Flight Bite and beverage... I think you're going to love it! If you are a fan of buffalo hot sauce I highly recommend my favorite appetizer, the Blue Moon Cauliflower.

EPCOT is one of my favorite parks for Disney Dining, so I'm certain you'll be able to put that Dining Plan to good use. Don't forget to make some advance dining reservations when your eligibility window opens up, 60 days prior to arrival starting at 6:00 am Eastern Time. Grab that Space 220 one first, they go fast!

Sending pixie dust for you to have a wonderful time with your friend at Disney World, Alan! Have the best time ever at Space 220, and please visit me again at planDisney if I can help with any additional questions.

    To infinity and beyond!
