    If I have a reservation for Space 220 lounge, can my kids (ages 6 and 8) order off the restaurant menu while my husband I order off the lounge/a la carte menu?

    Hi Kristin,

    Welcome to planDisney! Space 220 Lounge is both a literal blast into space and a figurative blast of a good time. The beauty of dining in the lounge area is that you get to experience an adventure into space but you are not confined to dining off the prix fixe menu.

    The lounge seating at Space 220 has one of the best restaurant views because it is right in the center of the action. I also enjoy the flexibility that the lounge provides because the dining possibilities are wide open. You are welcome to order from the a la carte menu or the prix fixe menu. We have done a mix and match of this at a table before but never only the kids ordering prix fixe and adults ordering off the a la carte menu. The kids' prix fixe menu offers smaller portions though so it should not be an issue. I would let your server know that you are doing this before you begin ordering and make sure that there won't be any issues with it.

    While you are there check out the Blue Moon Cauliflower. It is delicious and provides something a little out of the ordinary to try. I would also prioritize some of the lounge-exclusive items like Chicken and Waffles. I also highly recommend the Jupiter Fizz which is a refreshing spritz-like cocktail for you and your husband to enjoy.
