If you have a reservation for Savi's Workshop and join the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance, and you end up placed in a group that is called the same time your supposed to build a lightsaber, do you lose your opportunity to build a lightsaber?

Hello there, Jason! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach back out and asking another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Are you ready to embark on your own adventures in a galaxy far, far away? In the very near future, you will have the opportunity to explore the Black Spire Outpost at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Here, you can shop at an interstellar marketplace, sample some local cuisine, and even pilot the Millennium Falcon on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run!

I totally understand your concern about missing out on one of your activities! Both Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are incredibly popular experiences that you don’t want to miss out on. Fortunately, you should have a bit of wiggle room even if you happen to have both of these experiences scheduled at the same time by chance!

Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers invites Guests to a secret workshop to construct their very own custom lightsaber. This experience lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes with check-in time. Whenever a Guest joins the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, they receive a boarding group. Once your boarding group is called, you will have approximately one hour to return and experience the attraction. With all of this in mind, you should be able to make it from Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance even if your boarding group is called at the time of your reservation!

I hope this information assists you in planning for your adventures at Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can assist with planning any other portions of your stay!
