Bright suns, Michael, and welcome to planDisney!
Building a lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at
Disney's Hollywood Studios is an experience that's on my Disney bucket list. And yes, in case you were wondering, it's a long list! But as far as this particular experience goes, I've heard nothing but rave reviews for it, which is often described as fun, interactive, and at times surprisingly emotional. While this is
especially true for
Star Wars fans, I have found that casual fans really savor the experience as well.
At this time, you will be required to use a credit card to pay the full amount of the Savi's Workshop experience at the time of booking. If your plans change and you need to modify or cancel your reservation, you will not receive a refund if you cancel within 24 hours or don't show up to your reservation. Full details can be found on the
Savi's Workshop page of the website.
While you're on the planet of Batuu, be sure to check out the intergalactic bar!
Oga's Cantina is one of the most fun and immersive places at the
Walt Disney World Resort. The Cast Members, the details, and the tunes from DJ R-3X (who used to pilot the Starspeeder 1000 on
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue before C-3PO took the reins), all make it an experience you'll never forget. And that's not even talking about the drinks! But speaking of which, personal favorite is the
Fuzzy Tauntaun. It's otherworldly and may cause your lips to go a bit numb for a little while, but trust me, it's delicious! And the truth is that any time I've been here, everyone has enjoyed their choices. Be sure to make an
advanced dining reservation, because just like Savi's Workshop, this one books up fast.
Michael, enjoy every minute of your building experience. If you have any other questions,
I'm here to answer them.
'Til the spires,
Matt
