Can I make a reservation for 2 rooms in Art of animation resort, and make sure those rooms will be next to each other?

    Hello Antonia,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for visiting us today. I absolutely love your choice of resort... Art of Animation is one of the most whimsical and magically themed Disney World Resorts, in my opinion! Each area is so thoroughly themed after a beloved Disney movie, it truly immerses you in the storytelling. And as delightful as the Nemo themed "Big Blue Pool" is, my family found that the Cars-land area stole our hearts! The adorable, free cozy cone cabanas by the "Cozy Cone Pool" ended up being our favorite place to relax.

As you may be aware, three of the sections at this fun resort offer exclusively family suites. These units are so nice and roomy, offering a small kitchenette with microwave, two bathrooms, additional space and privacy for your party, and can sleep up to 6 adults. These suites do not technically connect, or adjoin in any way to each other. You can however request suites located next to each other? Although not guaranteed, Cast Members are always happy to try and accommodate this for guests, if at all possible!

Another option are the standard rooms in the Little Mermaid section of the Art of Animation Resort, which sleep up to 4 adults. This section of the resort does offer connecting rooms. So if you'd like to go this route, I would reserve two Little Mermaid standard rooms.

Your rooms will need to be booked individually. Once your reservations have been made, you've got a couple of options for attaching your request for connecting rooms (or close rooms, if family suites). I recommend calling Disney Resort Reservations, and a Cast Member will be happy to add a note to both reservations. Or you can submit this Disney email form with your request, making sure to include your reservation numbers and asking for two rooms that are adjoined.

I see you're planning on a January visit... don't miss the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT! This has grown to be one of the biggest highlights of the year at this park, offering fun and creative extras that are definitely worth the visit.

I hope this helps, Antonia! If I can assist you with any other tips or recommendations regarding park plans, dining, Lightning Lane strategies or more... please be sure to send me a message any time at planDisney.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
