If you have a reservation at a restaurant in Downtown Disney @6pm but you are at the Animal Kingdom, what time would you have to leave the AK by the bus in order to make the dinner with time to spare...Thanks. Hope this is not a weird question..

Hi Lisa! No questions are weird here at the Moms Panel! We're happy to help! Buses don't run directly between the parks and Downtown Disney, so you're smart to be thinking about this issue before your trip. To travel from Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney, you'll need to take a bus to one of the resorts in the Downtown Disney area, such as Saratoga Springs, Port Orleans, or Old Key West, and then transfer to a boat or bus to Downtown Disney from there. Since you'll need time to walk to your restaurant once you arrive at Downtown Disney, I'd recommend that you leave the park about an hour before your dinner reservation. If you're short on time, you can always catch a cab and be there in about 20 minutes.

Have a wonderful vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
