Welcome aboard, Emily! My husband and I love dining at both
Palo and
Remy when we sail with Disney Cruise Line! Of course, the rotational restaurants are all fabulous too, but it's so nice to sneak away from the kids one night and enjoy a romantic and delicious meal in one of the two Adult Exclusive restaurants onboard. I'm so glad you're planning to do so as well!
I'm sorry that so far you weren't able to get a reservation at Palo for your cruise, but you're not completely out of luck yet. Keep checking back online, as sometimes there will be a cancellation as guests finalize their plans, so you may be able to snag a reservation! If not, once you board the ship, head to the spot onboard that is set up for changing reservations for dining. Usually from about 1:00 - 3:30 on embarkation day, the dining managers set up a station in Royal Palace or Royal Court, depending if you're on the Dream or Fantasy, to help guests with dining changes. There will be a notice about the exact time and location on the front page of your Personal Navigator that you receive when you check in at the port terminal that day. You may find you're able to get a Palo reservation then, and they could then help you cancel your Remy reservation.
However, I encourage you to try Remy if you can! You will experience a meal unlike any other, with course after amazing course of the chefs' best selections. There are two menu experiences, so my husband usually orders one, while I order the other, and we share so we can sample everything possible. It's really a special evening!
Just keep in mind the reservation cancellation policy, so you're sure to cancel in time without incurring any extra charges (at least 24 hours in advance), Emily. Have a wonderful sailing!
