I have a reservation at Pop Century, plus dining plan. Am thinking that to make it easier with my one and three year old I might make a reservation at Polynesian or Bay Lake Tower instead. What one do you recommend? And, is it worth the extra 2 grand??

Hi, Amy!  There are a couple of ways to go with this one.  I have three daughters, all of whom are theme park veterans from the time they were babies.  I've never once left a theme park in the middle of the day to go back to the hotel for naps, rests, meals, etc.  If we left to go to the park, we stayed at the park the whole day - or at least until we had accomplished all we set out to accomplish.  I was very fortunate that my babies pretty much slept anywhere, so having them nap in their strollers was no problem at all.

The Polynesian and Bay Lake Tower Resorts both give you pretty easy access to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.  You just have to hop onto the monorail from the Polynesian or the Contemporary (which is just a bridge away from Bay Lake Tower).  It's easy with a stroller to ride the monorail, but it won't get you to either Animal Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You'll still have to rely on other forms of transportation.

I would say if you only plan on doing the trip from your resort once in the morning, and then once again when you return later in the day; and you have no other compelling reason to stay at the Polynesian or Bay Lake Tower other than the monorail transportation, it's probably not worth the extra money.  $2000 buys a lot of awesome souvenirs, plenty of Photo Pass photos, and some really nice dinners.  But if your plan is to go back and forth between the theme parks and the resort for nap time, pool time, or just because you anticipate spending a lot of time between parks and hotel, then it may be an investment in convenience.
