Your next, big Disney World adventure is just around the river bend. But sometimes you have to slightly alter the path on your watery course. If you need to cancel your reservation, or simply need to change your dates, I'm here to help you along the way.
You can cancel a Disney World
theme park reservation in the
My Disney Experience app or online via the official desktop Disney World website. Within the app, log in to your account and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Find "My Plans." Find your current theme park reservation by scrolling through any dates along the top of the screen. Click the reservation and select "Get Details." Scroll down to "Cancel Reservation" to remove it. This helps to free up space for other Guests who want to book that date.
In all reality, you're canceling your theme park reservation, but you are not saying goodbye to your purchased admission ticket. Using the steps above, you could also "Modify Your Reservation" as well. You can then change the date or the theme park that you plan on visiting.
