Hello there, Kate! Thanks so much for bringing this great question to planDisney. I'm sure you're in the middle of packing for your
Walt Disney World Resort trip—how exciting! You're also a savvy planner, so let's look at purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your visit.
My first tip is to double-check that your
Disney's Old Key West Resort reservation is linked to your account. I tried to book a tour recently, but the dates for my stay weren't open when they should've been. I was trying on my mobile app and finally realized I wasn't logged in! Please don't tell my planDisney pals about that; they'll make me turn in my panelist card!
You might also confirm that your theme park tickets are linked, and if your ticket isn't date-based, you'll need to make
theme park reservations for each day.
Another troubleshooting tip is to make sure your
mobile app is up to date. My friend couldn't purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass in the park recently, but she was good to go once her daughter updated her app. Technology - Can't live with it; can't live without it!
If everything is linked and up to date, you should be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass
seven days in advance since you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel. Other guests can buy at the three-day mark. I recommend calling the
Website Support line if you still need help. They can look at your account to ensure everything is synced and even help you make your selections.
I'm heading to the theme parks next week, as well. I plan to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for my day at Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many
attractions to choose from! I feel certain I'll be able to utilize the service throughout the day. Maybe we can compare notes after our vacations!
Kate, planDisney appreciates your trust in us to help you plan your magical adventures. Please
stop by anytime, and have a fantastic trip! If you see someone at Magic Kingdom eating their weight in Mickey pretzels, it's probably me!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
