Hiya, Brad! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for bringing this great question here today.
When it comes to making room requests at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I have a few suggestions on what I've found to work best. As you mentioned, you can make requests through the
My Disney Experience app. To do this, tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, then scroll down a bit and tap "Chat With Us." Here, you can type in your request along with your reservation number and a Cast Member will get back to you as soon as they're able.
If you prefer to not use the app, I'd recommend that you make your requests online through your
My Disney Experience account. Log into your account online, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click
My Plans. Once you locate your reservation, you can click "Start Check-in" to make some room selections. Click "Show Details" next to "These Details Are on File," then click "Edit" next to "Room Requests." Additionally, you could click the "Chat Now" button on the main page to be connected with a Cast Member if that's how you'd prefer to make your requests.
Finally, you could always
call a Cast Member! By calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, you'll be directed to a team member who will be happy to add your requests to your reservation. Brad, please remember that room requests aren't guaranteed, even though Cast Members will do their best to accommodate you! No matter what type of room you receive, you're sure to have an incredible time at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. There's so much to see and do, from the
campfire activities to dining at
Olivia's Cafe!
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction, Brad! If you have any other questions, please write to us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
Michelle
