Hello Kirsty, and welcome back to planDisney! We're happy to see you've brought us a planning question. Your magical vacation is about to begin... how exciting!
Stitch is my absolute favorite character, and I can't think of a better way to start a day at Walt Disney World than having
breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana. Your reservation is certainly bright and early, but you've got some options to make sure you arrive in time.
Early entry for Magic Kingdom will likely begin at 8:30 AM during your vacation dates. This means parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) will open up about one hour before, and the
monorail should start running around 8:00 AM. Although the monorail is very slick, and the Polynesian is the first stop on the Resort Monorail loop, this would likely be too late to get you to your breakfast reservation in time.
What I recommend instead, since it sounds like you will be driving a vehicle, is to drive directly to the Polynesian Village resort first thing that morning. The Cast Member parking attendant will allow you to park in the lot for free, as long as you have an early 'Ohana reservation. This will allow you to control your arrival time much better. Then after you've enjoyed your wonderful character dining experience, you will need to move your car. If you plan to head to Magic Kingdom next, you can drive back to the TTC parking lot and ride the monorail as you originally planned.
I hope this helps, Kirsty! Enjoy every moment of your stay at Walt Disney World, and please
visit us any time at planDisney with your questions.
Magical memories await,
Tami
