I have a reservation for Ohana at 7:55am for 2. If my friend can't make it, will I be charged for her not being able to come? Also, should I take the early reservation bus from AoA to Ohana or just take a normal bus?

Hi, Kathryn!  You will not be charged for your friend if she is unable to dine with you for breakfast at 'Ohana.  Of course, she'll miss a great time, a delicious breakfast, and your wonderful company!

You'll want to give yourself at least 45 minutes to an hour travel time at that time of the morning, so you may do better with an earlier bus.  You'll be taking the bus to a theme park, then on to the Polynesian resort, I'd probably do the earlier bus.  Alternatively, you can get a few extra minutes of sleep and take a cab.

    Have a wonderful time!
