Do you get a reservation number for a reservation on waitlist?

Welcome BACK to planDisney, Heidi! It is lovely to see you here asking another vacation question, and I love that you trust us to provide you with answers. It would be my pleasure to help you with your question about a Waitlist Request.

Disney Vacation Club Members can put in a Waitlist Request for a Disney Vacation Club Resort that does not have availability on the selected dates. You can choose to “Waitlist This Entire Stay” at your desired Disney Vacation Club Resort, or just the days needed to complete your requested reservation dates. I currently have two active Waitlist Requests, the maximum allowed during a membership Use Year.

To view your current Waitlist Requests, login to your Disney Vacation Club Member account and scroll down until you see “My Vacation Plans.” You can then select the Waitlist Request and choose View or Modify Details. You will not have a reservation number until your Waitlist Request has been confirmed. To read more about Disney Vacation Club Waitlist Requests, go to Booking Guidelines under the Plan a Vacation tab on the Disney Vacation Club website. Once on the How to Book page, scroll down until you see “Waitlisting a Resort.”

I hope this information helps you plan your next Disney Vacation Club stay! Please stop back by planDisney if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
