If we have a reservation at a non-buffet, does everyone have to order a meal? We were wondering if the adults could split meals here, in other words, if 2 adults could share one meal and use up 1 dining credit?

    Dear Marie,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about planning your use of your Disney Dining Plan

You are correct, at a restaurant that is not a buffet, character meal, family-style meal, or dinner show, you can use a Table-Service Dining Plan credit for two adults and split a meal. That would mean splitting a beverage, entree, and dessert. At a Quick-Service location, you can also easily split a meal and use one Quick-Service credit. Of course, for restaurants that are two Table-Service credits per person, that would still apply as well.

Be sure to ask when you are checking in that day for your meal, as this is subject to change at any time. If it was me, I would also tip the server as if I was ordering two meals, since they will be waiting on you as two people.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
