Before I make a reservation at the new Riviera Resort, I would like to know if the Skyliner will be able to accommodate an ECV

    Hi Shirley!

You are going to fall in love with Disney’s Riviera Resort! I was lucky enough to tour one of their model rooms and Disney has truly outdone themselves. Themed after the elegance of Europe experienced by Walt Disney during his travels, every last detail of this new resort is simply gorgeous. One of my favorite parts of the design is the artwork. You’ll find paintings inspired by classic Disney films throughout the resort, and not every room will have the same pieces displayed!

Disney’s Skyliner is scheduled to take flight on September 29, 2019, and promises to provide an exciting new transportation option for Guests. I remember the original Skyway at the Magic Kingdom and I always enjoyed the bird’s eye view of the park. The new Skyliner will service not just Disney’s Riviera Resort, but also Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Standard gondola cars will have two benches and seat up to 10 Guests. There will also be cars specially designed to accommodate wheelchairs and Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECV’s) so that the new Skyliner can be enjoyed by even more Guests!

I hope you have a lovely stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort and enjoy the new Disney Skyliner!

    Have a Magical Day!
