We have a reservation for lunch at Tusker house the day AFTER our son will turn 3.(spending his 3rd birthday in the park!) Since he will be 2 upon our arrival I know he will not require a ticket, but will he be charged for the buffet character lunch?

    Hello Kelly,

How exciting for your son to spend his 3 year old birthday at Walt Disney World. On the day of his birthday, be sure to visit Guest Services at any of the Walt Disney World Resorts or Theme Parks to receive his Birthday Button. He will be delighted by the many "Happy Birthday's," he receives throughout his special day.

Another wonderful treat for you, is because your son arrived at Walt Disney World before his 3 year old birthday, he will be recognized as under the age of 3 for his entire stay and so can share off your plate at any of the Walt Disney World table service restaurants or buffets. Keep in mind, if he prefers something off the kids menu at one of the counter service restaurants or table service restaurants, you will be charged for the kids meal.

Happy Birthday to your little Prince and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable birthday moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
