Hello, we have a reservation for lunch at Cinderella's castle for lunch at 12:05. Do you think that we have time for a round of mini golf before? It will be just a 5 years old and her daddy. Also which course would you recommend?

    Hi Samantha,

Your princess will love lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table. Even my three princes love dining inside the castle.

Miniature golf at Disney World is so much fun. The courses are fun and whimsical with a great touch of Disney sprinkled in. While we love the Fantasia Gardens course in front of the Dolphin and Swan, I think you may find Winter/Summerland at Blizzard Beach a great place for the younger golfers. These courses are designed as a vacation get away for Santa in his off season. The courses have cute winter and summer touches as well as a few inrteractive surprises. The course has enough a challenge to entertain dad, while allowing your daughter to give him a run for his money.

The courses generally open around 10am. If you arrive right at opening, I would allow about forty five to sixty minutes to play and enjoy a round. This would leave approximately an hour to get over to Magic Kingdom and to the restaraunt. The biggest concern is the bus options from Blizzard Beach. This route is one of the slower routes because of the stop options. Your best bet would be to grab a bus to the Contemporary, Polynesian or Grand Floridian and then take the monorail to Magic Kingdom. I generally like to allow an hour travel time. The buses run about every twenty minutes and then you need to allow for any additional stops as well as travel time. You will also need to consider the time to use the monorail to the park.

Don't forget to allow time to pass through security and the entrance gates and walk to the Castle. Allow I think it is possible, it will be tight and if you miss a bus or run into any delay you will be late. I would hate to rush your mini golf fun, so if it was me I would golf later in the day and spend that morning enjoying Magic Kingdom.

Hope you have a great time!
