Hi William! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question today!
Horseback riding at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort sounds like a magical adventure! What a fun activity to do on a non-park/rest day. Don't forget to visit the beautiful
Tri-Circle-D Ranch, home to all of the Happiest Horses on Earth! William, making a reservation for this Enchanting Extra should be fairly simple. First, visit the Walt Disney World Resort website, and type in "horseback riding". Next, you'll be sent to the Horseback Trail Riding at Fort Wilderness Resort page. Click on "Check availability", and a calendar will pop up. Click on the date you wish to do this activity, followed by the number of people in your group, and select if you want a morning or afternoon time. When you click on either "morning" or "afternoon", times that are available that day will pop up, and then the price (prices start at $55, and are subject to change). You will then be asked to log in to your
Disney Account, and then you can follow the steps toward checkout and payment.
Since you will be visiting Fort Wilderness, I suggest making a dinner reservation after enjoying your trail ride at
Trail's End Restaurant! This restaurant features delicious, down-home Southern cooking, or if you're interested in dinner with entertainment, make a reservation at
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! This highly popular Enchanted Extra fills seats fast, so if you are interested, make a dinner reservation as soon as possible!
William, I hope you have a wonderful trail ride at Fort Wilderness, and enjoy the beauty of this resort! Have a magical vacation!
Frances
