    Our reservation for the hoop dee do is on a "down day" when we planned to not enter any parks due to having a 5 day hopper over a 7 night stay. With that in mind, what's the best route from art of animation and how much time should we allow to ge

    Hi Keri,

    I love that you are planning a down day and that you are going to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! This is one of my family's favorite things to do!

    From the Art of Animation, you should take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. At Magic Kingdom, transfer to a boat to Fort Wilderness Campsite. You will then take a short walk to the theater for your meal. I would allow about 90 minutes for this route because you need to make two connections. However, there is plenty to do at Fort Wilderness if you get there early.

    If you are shopping at Downtown Disney, you can leave on a bus right from there to Fort Wilderness as well.

    Your return trip will be easier as you can take a bus straight back to your resort.
