Hello, We have a reservation for 8 at Be Our Guest, but 5 of our party might not make it, would they turn us away if it’s only 3 of us? It was difficult to get the reservation, and I do not want to lose it because others in our party may not make it.

    Bonjour, Cass!

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney! And now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as this panelist proudly presents….your answer!

I’m elated you’ll be experiencing such magical adventures in the great wide somewhere… this being Walt Disney World Resort, of course! How exciting that your trip begins TODAY! Soon, you’ll be dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant, where the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast is brought to life! You’ll be in awe as you enter the main dining room and find it is indeed the same room where Belle and Beast had their first dance! Next, you’ll find the infamous rose located in the West Wing dining room; I went ahead and checked with Beast, who told me as his guest, you are welcome to check it out! The third dining room has a gallery of beautiful portraits of stunning scenes from the movie. I love this restaurant so very much and I know you're going to have the most magical time!

Cass, although Cast Members at the restaurant will not turn you away, they could possibly charge a $10 fee for the Guests who did not show; this is completely at the restaurant's discretion. In order to prevent that, I would recommend you modify (not cancel) your reservation. To modify your reservation, open up your My Disney Experience Mobile app, and click on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the screen. Then, you will choose “My Plans,” locate your reservation and select “Modify.” This will allow you to change the size of your party. If this option isn’t available, since you’re already at Walt Disney World Resort, I recommend heading over to the restaurant first thing as they open to let a Cast Member host/hostess know. In my experience, Cast Members are so very accommodating. If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can also ask the concierge at the front desk to help. Additionally, you can call and speak to a Cast Member at Disney Dining Reservations at (407) 939-3463.

    Have an enchanting time, Cass!
