Hi there, Jessica! I am so happy to see that you found planDisney to ask your questions about Disney Dining – one of my favorite topics!
Congratulations on securing two of the most highly coveted dining reservations in all of Walt Disney World! You must have been on the website at the right time at your 60-day mark!
When you book a reservation at
Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom, you are required to give a credit card to hold your reservation, which you know. Once you have enjoyed your meal, you can pay with a different credit card or even a Disney Gift Card. The original card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation. This is also true of reservations at Droid Depot, Savi’s Workshop, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This is great news for me, since I try to purchase Disney Gift Cards prior to our vacations to pay for all of our dining reservations.
Your credit card hold for Be Our Guest is slightly different. Should you not show up for your reservation, your card will be charged $10 per person instead of the full amount like at Cinderella’s Royal Table. And, just like the other restaurant, you can pay with a different form of payment once your meal is complete.
If you are looking for a snack in Magic Kingdom, my favorite one is the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from
Sleepy Hollow, which is near Cinderella Castle towards Frontierland. This is served until 11:00 AM every day, and is a fresh waffle spread with Nutella with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries on top. It is large enough to share (although I don’t) and is delicious. You can use the MyDisneyExperience
mobile ordering, too!
I hope you have fantastic feasts at both Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table.
Happy Traveling (& eating),
Tracy
