Hey, howdy, hey, Amanda, and welcome back to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by with your question. I could relax for hours in the lobby of
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa with its wooden floors and giant arches. I know you will love the Downtown Disney access and the special
Disney California Adventure Park access this hotel provides.
Advance dining reservations for
Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests are the same for all Guests and may be made
60 days in advance of the date you want to dine at select
restaurants, one day at a time, and not based on a hotel stay. Because of the limited number of table service restaurants at Disneyland Resort, you may find it difficult to get a dining reservation at the 60-day mark. When unable to get a reservation at the 60-day mark, try the following.
First, I recommend checking every day, first thing in the morning, around 6:00 AM PST online or on the
Disneyland Mobile App for an open reservation. Additional reservations may open up as Guest plans change even on the same day. Second, be flexible on the day of your vacation you will eat at the restaurant. Since Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney are so close together you can easily walk from one area to the other. No additional transportation is needed. Third, on the day you want to dine, join the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability. On our last visit, a month ago, we were not able to get a reservation to
Cafe Orleans and joined the walk-up list with success.
Amanda, I know you will have a great time during your February adventure to the "Happiest Place on Earth." Please feel free to stop by planDisney for more planning tips and
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
