Hey there, hi there, ho there, Melanie, and welcome to planDisney. The
Disney100 Celebration has been a wild ride that even Mr. Toad would approve. With special fireworks, parade floats, merchandise, and delicious treats of all shapes and sizes, this past year has been a magical adventure. Your January trip is one of the
best times of the year to visit Disneyland Resort due to lower crowd levels giving you more opportunities to enjoy the attractions.
While some celebrations have a defined beginning and end, Disney has not announced an end to the Disney100 Celebration. However, they have progressively been removing the
Disney100 Décor from inside and outside the theme parks and hotels. When you arrive in January there may be some remaining statues and icons similar to those left after the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration. I recommend you follow the
Disney Parks Blog as they share the latest news about upcoming events and experiences over the next seven weeks as your late January trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" approaches.
Melanie, adventure and excitement are just around the corner. I hope there are some remaining celebration photo ops during your trip. Please feel free to
write me back with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
