We have a reservation at fort wilderness late January of 2024 and all of February. We have a 44 foot camper with 4 slides. We want to request a site that we can also put up a tent. How do we go about requesting that?

Howdy, Patricia, and welcome to planDisney, the wildest panel in the wilderness! I'm so envious of your extended camping trip coming up next year. It's like you'll be living at Walt Disney World Resort! And The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort will be the perfect home on the range. Let's look at the options for pitching a tent around the campfire during your stay.

I'm unsure which campsite category you've booked, Patricia, but the Full Hook-Up Campsites will accommodate a 50-foot RV plus a tent. The Premium Campsites accommodate up to 60-foot RVs, but I spoke to a rootin'-tootin' Cast Member who said those are solid concrete pads with no way to anchor tent stakes. If you would like more details about your specific category, you can contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for information or to make a switch to any available campsites.

You'll be in residence long enough to try Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Patricia, so get ready for a yee-haw of a good time. This dinner show will surely please all your posse, so book your seats at the 60-day mark. I'm a plant-based eater, and they even have options for me there!

Thanks again for circling your wagons with planDisney, Patricia! I hope your weeks camping at Walt Disney World Resort are all you're dreaming of! Please feel free to stop by anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
