Hey there, Danielle!
Welcome to planDisney and congratulations on your upcoming visit! Did you know that you are visiting during my most favorite time of the year? I might be slightly biased because April is my birth month, but honestly, April is the best! Especially since you’ll be there during
Flower & Garden which is also my favorite EPCOT festival. See, April is wonderful!
Danielle, I do have some tips for you when it comes to your existing All-Star Music reservation. I recommend calling the Walt Disney World Resort
reservations line every so often to see if the additional days you need open up. I also recommend taking a look at the family suites at
Art of Animation. I’ve stayed there in the Cars Family Suite and I know there are a few more family suites at that resort so you might be able to book there for the entire length of your stay.
If none of those options work, I do have another suggestion for you to try before your All-Star Music reservation. Depending on your party size, you might consider booking two connecting rooms at any other resort.
Bell Services will be more than happy to transfer your luggage to All-Star Music Resort on the day of the resort swap. Essentially it will be a split stay which my family calls, 2-in-1 vacations! If you do this, my packing tip is to pack a different luggage for each stay. This helps keep things organized and you don’t have to worry about losing park time because you’re packing up for the swap.
The last recommendation I have for you is to take a look at the other
Disney Resorts that may accommodate your party size. I know that
Caribbean Beach Resort offers a 5th sleeper room option so that might work for your family, depending on your party size.
Danielle, I hope this helps! I’m also sending magical wishes your way in hopes that All-Star Music has an opening for your entire length of stay.
Enjoy your visit,
Shantel
