We have a reservation for my family of 4 in October for Jambo house, and I was wondering what the pros and cons are of this hotel compared to Kidani village? We like to be close to food and pool if this helps. Love the info from this site!!!! Kristin

    Hi Kristin!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is wonderful no matter which you choose! This is one of our favorite resorts as we love the African feel - and seeing all the exotic animals!

Both Jambo House and Kidani Village have great pool areas, complete with slides, fitness centers, and restaurants.

The Jambo house restaurants include a quick service restaurant, a sit down buffet restaurant called Boma (which serves an incredible breakfast and dinner!!) and a signature fine-dining restaurant. Also offered are a cocktail bar with lounge area and a pool bar. We enjoy the Jambo house for its large lobby, spectacular views of the savanna's, and family activities.

While the Kidani Village lobby is smaller, it also offers a wonderful table service restaurant. The pool bar also offers food as well. The pool area in Kidani Village is also a great place to hang out with the kids. An interactive water playground is a huge draw for kids (and some of us adults as well!!).

Enjoy your trip to the lodge!
