Hello Christina!
I love answering questions from fellow Annual Passholders and
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique enthusiasts. I firmly believe that a little sparkle and some fabulous accessories can make any day more magical.
As you know,
Annual Passholders are required to make theme park reservations for most days they visit the parks. The exceptions are Good-to-Go Days, and weekday visits after 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays don't require reservations when entering EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park after 2 p.m. However, you'll need one to enter Magic Kingdom Park or to hop there, even after first visiting another park
as my pal Nimmy explains here. When in doubt, reserve! You'll need to enter your reserved park first, but you should be able to hop to your delight after that, subject to capacity.
I haven't heard of any recent capacity-related closures but I want to remind you that this weekend is the official debut of
Tiana's Bayou Adventure. The park may see an increase in crowds that day, especially among local Passholders who may not have been able to snag a preview of the attraction. I can't guarantee your entry, but I'm hopeful that you won't run into any issues. In my experience, capacity-related closures are often temporary. I'd plan to hop over early and keep trying should you run into any issues. I don't believe dining reservations or Enchanting Extras Collection experiences will guarantee entry in the event of a capacity closure, but I'd recommend speaking with a Cast Member at the park entrance if you encounter this type of scenario.
I just took a look at the
availability calendar and at the time of my writing, Magic Kingdom Park does appear to be available for Passholders on Saturday, June 29. Disney Pixie Dust Passholders are blocked out that day, but if you have another pass type you may be able to modify your existing theme park reservation. You can
make modifications online by logging in here, or through your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. I'll keep my fingers crossed that things work out as smoothly as a wave of the Fairy Godmother's wand.
Christina, I hope you have a ball this weekend! Please come back and see us with more questions anytime.
Magic and memories,
Amy
