Welcome to planDisney, Ronnie!
Regardless if you attend a special event like
Disney Jollywood Nights or
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there are good times ahead! I love any excuse to dress up in my Hollywood best, spooky costumes , and everything in between. As we know, plans can change, and I totally understand how important it is to have a flexible vacation. Let’s get into what to expect if you cancel your resort stay.
First things first, most (if not all) separately ticketed events aren’t tied to a Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay. If you believe that the ticket you have is, I recommend that you call the
“Existing Tickets” hotline to speak to a friendly Cast Member about your specific situation. Otherwise, you should be fine jumping ship with your hotel stay and still be able to go to the event.
There is one way that having a Disney Resort Collection hotel stay booked could have affected an aspect of my special event, so I’ll share that story with you, Ronnie. I planned on staying at one of the hotels during Disney Jollywood Nights; therefore, I was able to buy that special event’s ticket during the period in which only hotel Guests could. I was able to book earlier than the general public, even though just a month later, I decided to cancel the hotel reservation. But I was still able to dance the night away at the party. I hope that gives you some peace of mind.
Ronnie, if you have any other questions as you plan your upcoming Disney vacation,

Magic always,
