I still have a reservation for Disney first week in September. Cannot make dining reservation at any table service. Says temporarily unavailable. Are any of TBS accepting advance reservations, or just not needing them due to lower crowds?

    Hi there, Sonja!

Sonja, dining on some scrumptious food is my absolute favorite part of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My family makes sure to have at least one table service meal a day, where we can take some time to connect and talk about our favorite parts of the day.

Sonja, currently a selection of table service restaurants are open in all four theme parks, as well as Disney Springs and many resort hotels. These restaurants are accepting reservations 60-days in advance.

If your family is interested in character dining, your options will be The Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT, Breakfast à la Art at Topolino's Terrace in Disney's Riviera Resort, or dine with Goofy and His Pals at Ravello, which is located in the Four Seasons Orlando - Walt Disney World Resort.

While character dining may look a little different than the last time you dined with your favorite pals, there is still plenty of fun to be had. Although characters are not currently greeting guests or signing autographs, they are promenading through the restaurant posing for pictures from afar, and you may even get a special surprise to take home!

Sonja, you may be encountering an issue booking a reservation because as all restaurants are adhering to a strict social distancing policy, they are operating at reduced capacity. Because of the reduced capacity, advanced dining reservations are highly recommended.

If there is somewhere you would love to dine, but have not been able to snag a coveted reservation, do not worry! I have had my best luck getting reservations about a week before I leave. Often, I even make my dining reservations the night before, so keep checking!

I hope that this helped, Sonja. Be sure to come back here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can answer any other questions about your fabulous September vacation!

Wishing you many magical (and delicious) memories!
