Hi, I am about to make a reservation for a Disney Fantasy Cruise to leave on November 19th,2016. Since we will be on the cruise on Thanksgiving Day, will there also be all of the Christmas festivities including Santa?

    Ahoy, Lanning!

Recently, Disney Cruise Line announced that its "Very MerryTime Cruises" will begin on November 14, 2015, on the Disney Fantasy. This means that your cruise in 2016 would most likely be one of the first holiday cruises for the year. Typically, the holiday cruises are announced during the summer, so be sure to keep an eye on the DCL website.

It looks like the itinerary you are considering is an Eastern Caribbean Sailing, with three full days at sea! That will be such a fantastic cruise, I absolutely love a day at sea. Be sure to head up to Goofy's Sports Deck to play some mini-golf and watch the Daily Navigator for fun family activities like Disney Trivia or gingerbread house decorating. You can also inquire at Guest Services if there will be a galley tour available for adults, this is a very interesting experience.

I hope this helps with your cruise planning. Please come back and visit us again with more questions before you set sail on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

“If you can dream it, you can do it” just about sums up my life. I am a mother of two amazing girls and wife to a fantastic man, all of whom support my passion for all things Disney. I am a thrill seeker, and have been fortunate enough to go parasailing high above the Disney Fantasy, zip-lining in St. Lucia, and swimming with stingrays in Grand Cayman – all while sailing the seas with Disney Cruise Line. I would love to help you plan your Disney Cruise Line vacation! Learn More About Tracy
