Hi Rebecca!
Thank you for stopping by
planDisney with your vacation question! How exciting for you to be planning a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth with your daughter later this month. There is nothing better than vacationing with family, making memories together that will last for a lifetime. With a visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you are sure to have an out-of-this-world adventure.
It sounds like you and your daughter both have a
Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios which is the first step in obtaining a boarding group for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. You will want to ensure that you and your daughter are connected under Family & Friends in your
My Disney Experience account so that you can join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance together. You can read more about how to add Family & Friends to your My Disney Experience account on the
Add Family & Friends page and the
Family & Friends in My Disney Experience – Frequently Asked Questions page.
As long as your
Disney account is linked to both you and your daughter’s park tickets, and you both have valid theme park entry, as well as a theme park reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will be able to enroll both of you in the virtual queue at the same time. To learn more about the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, check out the Experiencing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance section on the
Planning a Visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge page. I highly recommend searching the internet for videos and tutorials that will help prepare you for the process of entering the virtual queue for this popular attraction, as they do go quickly!
I hope you and your daughter have a magical time in
Walt Disney World together. Please stop back by planDisney if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
May the Force be with you!
