Hey there, Guillaume!
I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney, and I appreciate you bringing your question our way! It sounds like you're getting ready for a
fall visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, which is so exciting. It won’t be long now until you’re fully immersed in everything that makes Walt Disney World so special!
If you're visiting
Magic Kingdom on a day when
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place, you'll need to leave the park by 6:00 PM when it closes to daytime guests. Because
The Crystal Palace is located inside Magic Kingdom, you wouldn't be able to make a 6:30 PM dining reservation there unless you have a valid Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket.
If you're not attending the party, I recommend making your Crystal Palace reservation for a time before 6:00 PM so you can enjoy your meal before the park closes to daytime guests.
That being said, visiting Magic Kingdom on a party day can actually be a great strategy! In my experience, crowds are often lighter than they are on a regular park day, particularly earlier in the day before Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party guests begin arriving around 4:00 PM. This can be a great opportunity to enjoy some of your favorite attractions with potentially shorter wait times.
If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy a meal after leaving Magic Kingdom at 6:00 PM, consider making a
dining reservation at one of the nearby monorail resorts. They’re conveniently located just a short ride from Magic Kingdom. One of my family's favorites is
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I can never get enough of the 'Ohana Bread Pudding!
Reservations at 'Ohana can sometimes be tricky to snag, so another great option is
Kona Cafe. Plus, you can get that delicious bread pudding there, too, which is definitely a big plus in my book!
Guillaume, I hope this helps as you put the finishing touches on your plans! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World!
See ya real soon,
Kami
