Hello, Helena!
Winnie the Pooh and I have a lot in common, namely because we both like to eat! I have a Rumbly in my Tumbly right now, thinking about
The Crystal Palace in
Magic Kingdom Park. Although I'm partial to breakfast due to Pooh's famous Puffed French Toast, dinnertime is known for the variety of roasted carved meats and great Children's Buffet affectionately known as Pooh's Corner. In my experience, I think you'll need to budget about 90 minutes for your meal, to allow time to check-in, be seated, eat, and see all the characters without racing through anything. Since dinner is a buffet, you may be able to finish up a little quicker, so mention this to your server when you are seated.
I'd also recommend giving Disney Dining a call at (407) 939-1947 to see if they can move your reservation a little earlier. The Crystal Palace is conveniently located close to Cinderella Castle, but guests will start lining up for
Happily Ever After about 30-45 before the show begins at 9:00 PM. If you want to see the projections on the castle (and I highly recommend you do), then you'll need to be done with dinner no later than 8:30 PM. Happily Ever After is a sight to be seen, and the dazzling colors and heartwarming soundtrack will capture the heart of any Disney fan. I'd hate to see you give up your dinner reservation, but if you have your heart set on seeing it, then consider dining at a Quick Service location;
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is one of my favorites!
Ursula once famously said, Life is full of tough choices, isn't it?" Good luck making your decision, Helena, and know that whatever you decide to do, you will have a magical time! See ya' real soon!
