Cecilia,
Thanks for your question to planDisney!
So I am not sure if you mean that you have a reservation to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World, or you are going to
Aulani, Disney's resort in Hawaii.
OPTION 1: Walt Disney WorldLet's assume that you are going to Walt Disney World, and you want to put the Polynesian hotel reservation into your
My Disney Experience account. Here are the steps you can follow to do that.
On your desktop computer: Starting at the Walt Disney World website, go to
"My Disney Experience" from the top menu, at the far right. In that drop down menu, select
"My Plans". You should see a series of circles lined up horizontally, one each for different kinds of reservations. There is one for resort hotel reservations, park tickets, park reservations, and dining. Pick the one that corresponds to the confirmation number, in this case for your hotel reservation, and when you hover over that circle you should then click on the
"Link" button that pops up. Enter your confirmation number and it will add it to your plans.
On a smartphone: If you are doing this on the
My Disney Experience App on a smartphone, click on the three vertical bar menu button on the lower right corner of the app. From there you should see buttons for those same options. Just follow the steps there to add your confirmation number, and you should be ready to go.
If you have tried these, and still have issues, call the Disney
Help Center, and they might be able to load the confirmation to your account for you.
OPTION 2: Aulani Resort in HawaiiSo if you are, indeed, going to Hawaii (LUCKY!), you won't be using the My Disney Experience App. That is exclusively for use at Walt Disney World. However, they do have an
Aulani smartphone app. Once you have that app loaded, you can add your confirmation number there. It is also a great app to have, mostly for the ability to see a listing of activities in real time, as well as the interactive resort map.
I hope one of these two paths helps you out. Write me back with any follow up questions, and I am glad to help you out further.
Have a Magical (and tropical) Vacation!
Doug
