Have reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table in July booked via the internet . I thought I provided a credit card in order to hold the reservation (due to signature dining place) but card was charged anyway. we have dining plan but could not tell them?

    Hi Susan,

A few of the Disney restaurants, including Cinderella's Royal Table, require pre-payment with a credit card to hold a reservation. However, once you are actually at the restaurant, you can ask to have your credit card payment refunded and then actually pay for your meal with another method. This is a very common situation with guests who are on the Disney Dining Plan.

My family dined at CRT a few months ago. We held the reservation with our credit card, but at the restaurant we asked for a refund and actually paid with a Disney gift card. Our server processed the refund request right there at the restaurant while we were still seated. He gave us a receipt that showed that a the refund was being processed. The actual notation of the refund came through on our very next credit card statement.

As long as you show up for your meal (or cancel within the specified window), you'll be able to use your dining plan credits as the actual meal payment.

    Enjoy your visit to WDW.
