    We have a 9 am reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast but the park opens at 9! Can we get in early? How does this work?

    Yes. You can get into the park early.

    Cinderella's Royal Table asks that you arrive at the restaurant 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation time. I would actually arrive at the Magic Kingdom by about 8:30. You'll go through the security checkpoint and then you'll see a big row of turnstiles. There will be one turnstile marked with a sign that says something to the effect of "early character meal entry." Usually the entrance is at the far end of the row of turnstiles. If you don't see it right away, just ask any cast member. When you approach this early character meal entry turnstile, there will be a cast member there with a clipboard. They will double check that you have a reservation. They look it up by your name, but have your confirmation number with you too, just in case. Then you'll be allowed to enter the park. You should be in by about 8:40. Walk toward the castle. This will be a very rare opportunity for you to take a few photos of your family in front of the castle without a gazillion other guests in the background of your shot. Take a few pictures and then you'll be at the restaurant check-in podium right on time.
