I have a reservation at chef mickeys at 7.15am on the 5/1/19. We are planning a day at magic kingdom after. Are we best parking at CR and walking to MK after breakfast or would we be able to park in TTC and walk/monorail to CR (Do they start that early)

    Hi Laura,

Starting a magical day with breakfast at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort with Mickey Mouse and his pals, some delicious food, and napkin-swinging fun sounds like a GREAT idea! Please enjoy a Mickey waffle for me. They're my favorite!

While you will be entitled to a few hours of complimentary parking at Disney's Contemporary Resort for your breakfast, you won't be able to leave your vehicle there all day long. If you'd like, you may feel free to drive directly to your breakfast in the morning, then move your car over to the Transportation and Ticket Center afterwards. The benefit to this would be that you don't have to wake up quite as early in the morning to allow for transportation time before breakfast. The downfall is that it will take a bit of time to move your car, then catch either a ferry or the monorail to head over to Magic Kingdom Park, and after your magical breakfast, I'm sure that you'll be anxious to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park! Your other option is to head straight to the Transportation and Ticket Center to park in the morning. In my experience, the Resort monorail loop has always begun running early enough in the morning for Guests (like you!) to make it to early breakfast reservations, so you shouldn't have any trouble. If you do that, you may either ride the monorail or simply enjoy a short walk to Magic Kingdom Park for a whole day of magic and fun after your yummy breakfast.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
