    I have a reservation for a Candlelight Processional Lunch at Akershus ... will this also be the character lunch with the princesses or is it something different?

    Hi, Crystal, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad to see you were able to secure the Candlelight Processional Dining Package for your meal at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. The Candlelight Processional is such a joyous way to celebrate the holiday season with your family and is quite popular with Guests. In my experience, the best way to enjoy this retelling of the nativity story is to make use of the reserved seating area included with the dining package.

    I am pleased to tell you that your menu and character interaction are exactly the same when dining with the Candlelight Processional Package. When you pay for your meal, you will be given vouchers for each member of your party that will be used to enter the designated Dining Package entrance at the American Gardens Theater. I recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Please note that 15 minutes prior to the show's beginning, all remaining seats in the reserved area will open to all Guests.

    Crystal, I have a tip for you to while visiting Epcot this holiday season. As you make your way around the World Showcase, be sure to stop by each country's pavilion and listen to the Holiday Storytellers. This is such a great way to learn how other countries and cultures celebrate the season. Pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park to learn more about each Holiday Storyteller's schedule.
