Hi there, Marjie!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for submitting your question to us! I'm so sorry to hear that your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort were put on hold earlier this year but I certainly hope that you're fully recovered. We understand that real life can get in the way of our trips but, thankfully, the Parks are always there to help us escape from our normal lives.
Disneyland Resort
Theme Park Tickets typically have very long shelf lives, so I'd imagine that you will be able to use your ticket for your October visit. The first thing you'll need to do is to link the ticket to your MyDisney account. This can be done on the
Disneyland website (click on "Link Tickets and Passes" under the My Disneyland tab on the top) or with the
Disneyland Mobile App (go to the "≡" Features Menu and scroll down to "Link to Account"). Once linked, you'll be able to
Modify your Reservation and change the date.
One thing to remember is that 1-Day Tickets are subject to a
Tier System. February 6, 2024 was a Tier 1 Ticket whereas October 24, 2024 is Tier 3. If you find that you need to upgrade your ticket, please call a Cast Member at the
Tickets phone line and they'll be happy to help you. You'll be responsible for the difference in price. If your ticket happens to have expired, a Cast Member will also be able to help you because the cost of a wholly unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value.
You'll be visiting right before
Halloween Time draws to a close. I love this time of year and my sweet tooth definitely gets a workout trying out all the
yummy themed foods!
Marjie, I wish you a magically spooky time on your visit and best of luck with changing your ticket. If you have any other questions, please visit us again because we're always happy to help. Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
