We have a reservation at the California Grill. I read somewhere that this reservation counts as 2 table service meals on the dining plan. Is this true?

Hi Ken! You're going to love the California Grill -- this restaurant atop the Contemporary has a wonderful view and equally wonderful food! On the Disney Dining Plan, certain restaurants are designated as "Signature" dining, and these upscale, more expensive restaurants do require two table-service credits. The California Grill is one of them. You can view a list of all the Signature restaurants requiring two credits by clicking here

Many people feel that the gourmet meals at Signature restaurants are worth two meal credits, especially if you order one of the more expensive entrees. If, however, you don't want to use two table-service credits for one meal, consider dining at The Wave, Kona Cafe, or Le Cellier instead, all of which cost only one credit.

Hope this helps! Feel free to visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
